Legacy of Kindness - 2023/2024
The Legacy of Kindness session of the Grand Chapter of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island is dedicated to my parents – David & Rosie Wedge. No matter what I have done I have always had the love and support of my parents.
- Sister Debbie Fox, WGM
I dedicate this year’s Legacy of Kindness to my Nan, the late Mrs. Gladys Evans, one who was the embodiment of kindness, gentleness and compassion. Her life was one of service to God, the church and her family – the virtues that I value most. Before she passed into the arms of her Creator a number of years ago, during a visit to Newfoundland in which I took my future bride Nadine to introduce her to her, she presented me with her Family Bible which she had for many years. I remember it being in a place of honour in her home as a very young lad and often looked through it, not fully comprehending the immense impact it would have on my life. It will be with me everywhere I travel in this Grand Jurisdiction.
I'm sure she'd be very pleased an it is a great privilege to have it.
- Brother Craig Savoury, WGP
